HERE ARE THE FACTS
Marijuana use by Junior High School students has increased by 63.15 percent between 1987 and 2001
Hallucinogens ues by students in grades 6 - 12 have increased by an astounding 142.85 percent from 1987 to 2001
In the year 2000, 74.8 percent of 12th grade students reported using alcohol, and 39.0 percent used Marijuana
One in four of the Class of 2000 reported they drank alcohol weekly (24.5 percent), and smoked cigarettes daily (23.1 percent)
Nearly a quarter of all students in grades 6 - 12 have been in trouble with the police (22.4 percent), and one in ten joined a gang (9.2 percent)
In the United State
24.7 million children live absent from their biological fathers. Fatherless children represent:
· 63% of teen suicide
· 70% of juveniles in state-operated institutions
· 71% of high school dropouts
· 75% of children in chemical abuse centers
· 80% of rapists
· 85% of youths in prison
· 85% of children with exhibit behavioral disorders
· 90% of homeless and runaway children
Statistics show that children who are raised in families without a strong father role model experience significant emotional, physical, social and financial problems later in life.
MOST PARENTS ARE NOT AWARE OF THE DANGER SIGNALS THAT THEIR CHILD IS HEADED FOR TROUBLE UNTIL IT IS TOO LATE!

The 2nd Base Foundation is a non-profit organization, incorporated and filed under charter in the State of Tennessee, and approved under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
It is devoted to assisting the growth and development of at risk and underprivileged children and youths without regard to race, religion, creed, ethnic origin, or economic status.
It is a camp program for at risk and underprivileged children. It is a program of intervention and support in an outdoor educational setting.
The Camp is located off I-40 West, at Waverly, Tennessee.
