This picture is real
and is not doctored in any way. It was taken in Waldorf, MD by a man
that works for a company that delivers building materials to
constructions sites for Home Depot. When he saw the
car in the parking lot of a local IHOP, he went and bought a camera
at a nearby minimart to take this picture. "Otherwise", he
said, "Nobody would have believed me!"
The car was still
running as can be witnessed by the exhaust fumes. A woman in the
front seat passenger side was either asleep or had passed out. After
taking the picture, the man called the police and when they got
there, they just shook their heads in amazement! The car is a
VW Jetta with Florida plates. In the back seat are 10 bags of
concrete mix which weigh 80 lbs. each. On the roof are 24-2x4s,
12-4x4s and 12 sheets of plywood. The estimated total load weight is
around 3,600 to 4,000 lbs. Both back tires are trashed and the
back shocks were driven up through the floorboard. When the driver
of the car came back, he told the police they were headed for
Annapolis, which was approximately 40 miles away! Well, good
luck pal! You're gonna need it.
